Unlike Bermuda, Pearl grass thrives in partial shade, making it ideal for lawns with tree cover or high walls.
It has broader, lighter green leaves with a distinct "pearly" shine, offering a very soft feel underfoot.
It forms a dense, creeping mat that covers the soil completely, preventing weeds from taking root.
